second generation friendship

the whole family flew to cebu last weekend to attend my bestfriend's daughter's birthday. i wouldn't want to miss it for the world. i think me and tet-tet are MFEO to be friends. we both went to the same school but we were not batchmates. she's two years younger than i am. i think we started to become friends when we bacame buddies during a dance workshop in Kalipayan Dance Company. we were the youngsters in the company then. but became really close during college days when she transferred to cebu and stayed in the same dorm as i was. we did everything together. and shared adventures and misadventures in life together. and the rest they say is history.

i'm back!

been in a long hiatus. my life just turned a complete 360 turn. motherhood has kept my hands full these days! boy oh boy! it's true when they say being a mom is not an easy job. i could restore teeth or pull them out all day long, but being a mom is no walk in the park but needless to say, i'm loving every minute of it.. since this is my first post as a mom, let me fill this page with photos of my little girl. she's one smiling little angel. she'll be turning 8 months this month. time flies so fast. she's an active baby. right now she's the constant source of laughter with her crazy antics. smart one,huh! and one proud mama here! peeps! meet Rhiane Elisha Calumpiano Aparri she was delivered via ceasarian section coz she was in breech position. she just won't fit in my small framed body,she can't turn around. she was actually sitting indian style. even inside she's already a diva! hehe.. born on: Feb. 16,2012 @ 2:39am weight: 2.85kg length: 49cm we were so excited to be with her,we asked her to be roomed in even if i still can't feel my legs yet. and she gave us her first smile..

the first 6 weeks were literally sleepless days for ronald and i. both newbies and with no experience of babysitting at all, nangangapa kami pareho. good thing my mama and nanay(my mother in law) were out there to help us out. i breastfed her her till the 6 mos. i only had a few milk maybe because i was adviced to stop for a week coz she still has jaundice for more than a month already,just to rule out breastfeeding jaundice. but i just let her latch till she would cry her lungs out not contented with my supply.

on her 7th week onwards, life was already a breeze! she'll sleep through the night only waking up for her feeding. she even sleeps on her own already. and every morning you'll wake up to this. up to now,she has not woken up in the wrong side of the bed. she never fails to put good in good morning! @ 3 months she hates bath time
